An assertive character beneath a refined exterior The Admiral's Cup Chronograph 40 Diamonds is intended for today's woman. At once self-confident, dynamic and precious, this newcomer plays on harmonious colours and precious materials. Equipped with a chronograph function, it asserts its inner self beneath a refined exterior.
The Admiral's Cup, the CORUM sports collection, was first launched in 1960. Right from the start, its emblematic 12-sided case met with unequivocal approval among connoisseurs. Along with the brand's other Golden Bridge, Romvlvs and Artisans lines, it embodies one of the four CORUM pillars.
Sporty but chic!
Contemporary women want sports watches, but not men's watches. CORUM has responded to this subtle preference by introducing the Admiral's Cup 40 Diamonds Chronograph. A worthy heiress to the existing collection, it proudly bears its signature features such as the 12-sided case and the nautical pennants indicating the hours, while distinguishing itself from its masculine counterparts by its 40 mm diameter entirely suited to feminine wrists. Its other key characteristics include a dial adorned in Polynesian mother-of-pearl, conferring an almost magical depth effect, along with its bezel systematically set with 66 diamonds and lending an irresistibly glamorous touch. Ensuring an ideal visual balance, the strap, dial, bezel and crown guard are all in the same muted shade. The colourful touches are provided by the nautical pennants on the outer dial ring. To ensure night-time readability, the hands are coated with a luminescent substance, while the chronograph central seconds hand is fitted with a counterweight shaped like the CORUM key symbol. The versions featuring an 18-carat red gold case are available exclusively with a genuine crocodile leather strap, while the steel models feature a rubber strap. These two versions are respectively water-resistant to 50 and 100 metres.
To the nearest second
The Admiral's Cup Chronograph 40 Diamonds asserts its powerful, sporting nature through its mechanical self-winding movement. Endowed with a 42-hour power reserve, this calibre features the hours, minutes, small seconds and date at 4:30 o'clock, in addition to the chronograph complication. Perfectly accurate thanks to its COSC chronometer certification; it features the dedicated CORUM finishes as well as an oscillating weight engraved with the CORUM name.
